Goodbye

Well as you can see its been a long time since I have shared any crafty makes with you.  I have had a big up upheaval in my life and no longer craft.  I have had to sell all my craft stash as I have moved to a beautiful apartment but unfortunately I have nowhere to store any craft materials. I feel sad but my life is changing for the better now and my journey is of a different kind. My healthy living and fitness is becoming more important now and I have decided to concentrate on this.

Thanks for all your support

More Gorjuss Makes

Hi Crafty Friends

Tonight I thought I would share with you a card I made using the new Santoro Gorjuss Collection.

Docrafts have used my card to advertise the collection.

I used the a selection of papers, a memory pocket, bunting, ribbons and charms from the embellishment pack to create my card.

I really like the new range with the brighter colors.  Don't you just love this Gorjuss Girl with her pink hair.

Bye for now

Gorjuss Girl

Hello Crafty Friends

Today I thought I would share  some Gorjuss Girl cards that I made recently.

The first one was made for a project at docrafts.

I created an embellishment by taking a hair clip and adding a felt flower and a metal charm fixing it to the clip with a hot glue gun.  I then filled the heart with adhesive gems and clear  gloss.  This embellishment can be removed and used a pretty hair slide.

I made this card for my cousins Birthday,

I love working with the Gorjuss Girl kits as there are some lovely papers and embellishments to work with  All my friends know that I adore Gorjuss Girl.

My hubby bought me lots of Gorjuss products  for my Birthday last year.  I have 2 beautiful framed pictures in my craft room and some lovely note books, mugs and storage jars. Next on my list is a Gorjuss Girl bag.

Bye for now

My Chocolate Box Bird House

Good Evening Crafters

I am counting the days until the weekend so I can get crafting again. On the list is a card for the docrafts design team, a baby card and 2 Mothers Day cards.  I will of course show you the results.

I made this bird house a few months ago for the Creativity Magazine.  I will be making  a few more for Easter presents as they make great chocolate boxes.

The bird house is made with the Xcut Cuckoo Clock Die.  It did take  a few hours to make but it turned out really well.

Hope your all having a lovely evening - now I am off to watch Eastenders and find out who killed Lucy.

Happy Crafting

It was Bobby  - well who would have guessed that.!!!

Butterfly Card

Hello Crafty Friends

Just thought I would pop on by to let you know about the lovely papers and sentiments you can download on the docrafts website.

I made this card using the new butterfly papers - they are so pretty.

For inspiration I decided to use one of Jill's Sketches 855 - 861  which you can also download.

Once I had decided on the sketch I layered pink and green cardstock onto a white 5 x 7 card.  I then mat and layered butterfly paper onto matching cardstock. I added the sentiments and cut out butterflys from the paper and placed around the card and  finished off with some sparkly clear gems.

I love the colors they are so bright and perfect for a springtime Birthday.  I am  sure my friend is going to love it.

The docrafts goodies I used are:

XCUT Scalloped Circle Die
Papermania Adhesive Gems

Crafty Blessings
